She regularly plays in many professional orchestras.
Sobieska is also a gifted arranger. Recent arranging engagements include commissions by the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra and the English Symphony Orchestra. In 2009 she launched www.freegigmusic.com, a website dedicated to making much-needed sheet music available to working musicians. Featuring her own practical arrangements of commonly requested pieces available for free while adhering to standards of high quality, the site has a surprisingly large following worldwide.
Pianist Patrick Wickliffe studied with distinguished teachers at the Cleveland Institute, Oberlin Conservatory, and Kent Sate University. In addition to a career as pianist and accompanist, he has worked in the church music field for the past ten years and currently serves as Coordinator of Music Ministry at Chagrin Falls’ Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
The performances are free and open to the Northeast Ohio community. Both churches will sponsor receptions in honor of the performers.
